World-class incubation centre in Vizag soon
Andhra Pradesh Innovation society centre CEO Dr Valli Kumari said on Thursday an innovation centre would be set up at Visakhapatnam soon as per the direction of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking to reporters at the Command Control Room she said the Innovation Society would help to encourage start up companies to convert their idea into commercial production by extending support.
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Innovation society centre CEO Dr Valli Kumari said on Thursday an innovation centre would be set up at Visakhapatnam soon as per the direction of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking to reporters at the Command Control Room she said the Innovation Society would help to encourage start up companies to convert their idea into commercial production by extending support.
She said the society would provide guidance through incubation centres and help in commercialisation of ideas of start up companies through product development, market research and exposure. She said that the society will encourage innovative products and they would be suitably awarded.
She said that the government would provide facilities like common infrastructure, faculty upgradation, entrepreneurship, learning, providing international mentors and exchange programmes, business networking and promotional events. Valli Kumari said that the Society will inaugurate world class incubation centre at Visakhapatnam in the areas of telecom, electronics, fabrication and manufacturing.
