Vijaysai Reddy demands CBI probe into land scam
Senior leader of YSRCP and MP K Vijaysai Reddy demanded a CBI probe into the land scams that rocked the state. He said the SIT inquiry ordered by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naodu was nothing but to protect the Telugu Desam leaders who were involved in the scam.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Reddy said a state-level agency cannot bring out the true facts on the multi-crore scam as ministers, MLAs, ruling party leaders, their kin, along with officials were involved in the scam.
“We have raised the issue and will intensify the agitation as the land records are being tampered and people in power are grabbing large extent of land in nearly 244 acres in the surrounding mandals villages of Madhurawada, Bhimili, Gajuwaka, Gopalapatnam, Anakapalli and other peripheries, he alleged.
