Krishna delta to get 100 tmc ft water

He inspected the on-going works and directed the engineers to complete the works in time.Speaking to reporters, Devineni asserted that irrigation water would be supplied to 13 lakh acres in Krishna delta.
“We saved crops by diverting 8 tmcft of water in 2015 and 60 tmcft of water in 2016. Within two years of the completion of PLIS, about Rs 8,000 crore worth crop has been saved and the Krishna delta farmer has got the yielding of 45 to 50 bags, which is a record,” he claimed.
