Andhra Pradesh Medical Infrastructure Corporation Chairman R Lakshmipati said that All India Institute of Medial Sciences (AIIMS) buildings construction at Mangalagiri will be completed by 2019 and it will be named after former Prime Minister AB Vajpayee. He further stated that AIMS tenders were finalised and construction work will start soon.
Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Medical Infrastructure Corporation Chairman R Lakshmipati said that All India Institute of Medial Sciences (AIIMS) buildings construction at Mangalagiri will be completed by 2019 and it will be named after former Prime Minister AB Vajpayee. He further stated that AIMS tenders were finalised and construction work will start soon.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said that the AIMS temporary hospital will be set up in Tenali town very soon. He said that the government is searching for suitable building in Tenali town to start temporary hospital.
He said that after the TDP came to power, the government hospitals are rendering better services to the patients. At present more than 4000 patients are visiting the GGH in Guntur city on an average and warned that the government would not tolerate negligence of the doctors in discharging their duties.
He said that the government will supply sufficient bed sheets to the government hospitals to change bed sheets every day. He stressed the need to use generic medicines. He warned that they will keep medical company in the black list, if any company supplies substandard medicines to the government hospitals.
