Divis Labs donates fifty two-wheelers to police
As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, noted Divis Laboratories donated 50 motorcycles to the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate on Wednesday. Visakhapatnam: As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, noted Divis Laboratories donated 50 motorcycles to the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate on Wednesday. All the vehicles were equipped with GPS, raincoat, first aid kit and public addressing system. The Divis Laboratories donated the bykes at a cost of Rs 57 lakh. Director of the company Madhusudan Rao handed over the vehicles to Commissioner of Police T Yoganand.
Minister for HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao flagged off the vehicles. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the Divis management and said that the company was implementing several CSR activities by adopting the villages in the vicinity of the company located in Bheemili Assembly constituency.
Commissioner of Police T Yoganand thanked the Divis management. Visakhapatnam MP K Haribabu, MLAs Velagapudii Ramakrishna Babu, PVGR Naidu and several Divis Laboratories officials were present.
