Surgical unit of Homi Bhaba Hospital opened
Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust MT Krishnababu inaugurated the surgical unit of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre here on Thursday.Deputy chairman of Port Trust PL Harnath, chief medical officer of VPT Dr G Balaparameswara Rao and director of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre Dr D Raghunadha Rao were present.
Visakhapatnam: Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port Trust MT Krishnababu inaugurated the surgical unit of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre here on Thursday.
Deputy chairman of Port Trust PL Harnath, chief medical officer of VPT Dr G Balaparameswara Rao and director of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre Dr D Raghunadha Rao were present.
Dr Raghunadha Rao thanked the Port Trust authorities for allotment of one floor at Golden Jubilee Hospital for starting cancer treatment facility.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman MT Krishnababu emphasised the need for tackling the major disease of cancer, because of increasing number of patients every day.
He also admired the treatment being extended by Tata Memorial Institute for which he allotted space in VPT Golden Jubilee Hospital. He also assured the community of VPT that it would be very helpful in the near future.
