S V Ranga Rao fit for Viswa Nata Chakravarty title

Participating as chief guest in the centenary celebrations of the legendary actor at Nehru Nagar here on Monday, he said that service activities are being done, under the aegis of the SVR Seva Samiti, even four decades of the demise of the actor par excellence. It is an example enough of the indelible mark the actor had left on the people.
He had the God’s gift of breathing life into any character. He wished that the birth anniversary celebrations of SV Ranga Rao should be held on a grand scale year after year. A blood donation camp, tree plantation programme, free-text books distribution programme was held in the town under the aegis of the SVR Seva Samiti. Ramachandra Prabhu lauded the efforts of the samiti in arranging the activities.
