Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to appoint four leaders apart from ministers as in-charges for each Parliamentary constituency in the state.

Addressing TDP coordination committee meeting at his Undavalli residence on Monday, he directed the party leaders to organise ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ programme during September and October to campaign about the welfare activities taken up by the government.

Appealing the party leaders and cadre to ensure grand victory of TDP candidate in the ensuing Nandyala Parliament by-poll, TDP supremo handed over the responsibility of Nandyala elections ministers Kalava Srinivasulu, P Narayana and Union minister Sujana Choudhary.

Slamming the opposition YSRC for not honouring the tradition of electing unanimously the family member of the demised sitting member during by-poll, he hoped Opposition’s infighting would turn advantageous for TDP.

Taking serious note of the comments made by the ministers violating the party discipline, he warned of serious action against them, if they not mend their ways. He asked the ministers and MLAs to maintain restraint and not to make derogatory comments against one another. Referring to recent survey, where it says that 47 per cent voters are in favour of TDP rule, Naidu opined that 80 per cent of the people should get satisfaction on the government.

He said that he would seek performance reports from all the parliamentary constituencies. He asked the leaders to complete booth committees appointments by July end. He also directed the district leaders to concentrate on the negative news reports being spread by some newspapers.
