Prakasam Barrage reaches FRL
The water level at Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada reached full reservoir level at 12ft by Wednesday night with the increase in inflows from Muneru, Kattaleru and Vira. Krishna Delta Chief Engineer Giridhar Reddy told The Hans India that they increased water flow to Krishna Eastern canal, Bandar direct canal, Eluru canal, Ryves, K E main, K W main and Guntur channel based on inflows.The inflows will be reduced by Thursday evening to 13,000 cusecs against 14,570 cusecs in the morning.
