Kidnapped girl found dead
A five- year- old girl, Zeon, who was kidnapped in Peda Eerlapadu village in Pedacherlopalli mandal on Thursday was found dead in the village tank on Saturday evening.
Kanigiri: A five- year- old girl, Zeon, who was kidnapped in Peda Eerlapadu village in Pedacherlopalli mandal on Thursday was found dead in the village tank on Saturday evening.
According to the details provided by the police, Brahmaiah and Pushpa are a couple and natives of Undavalli village in Peda Guduru mandal of Nellore district. The couple moved to Kodandaramapuram in Pedacherlopalli mandal of Prakasam district to work in the sweet lime orchards, with their children, a girl, and a boy.
On Thursday, Brahmaiah took the girl suffering from illness to a doctor in Peda Eerlapadu village. He complained to police that some unknown person gave him Rs. 200 to get liquor and promised to look after the girl, but he didn’t find them both when he returned.
On Saturday evening, the locals found the dead body floating in the village tank of Peda Eerlapadu and informed the authorities. The police sent the body for postmortem and further investigation.
