Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Academy on Thursday tied up with leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software sales force and conducted an awareness programme on Salesforce Academic Alliance (SAA) at a private hotel.

Vijayawada: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Academy on Thursday tied up with leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software sales force and conducted an awareness programme on Salesforce Academic Alliance (SAA) at a private hotel.

Leading educational institutions from Vijayawada and south Andhra Pradesh participated in the programme. The students were briefed on advantages of certificate programme. The lecturers were briefed on reducing the gap between industries and institutions for better job opportunities to students.

SAA South Asia Pacific Programme Manager Rajesh Nambiar said the students would get free training programme and after successful completion, they can obtain certification which will be useful to get jobs.

ICT Academy Vice-President Anbuthambi said their organisation was working towards reducing gap between industries and institutions and was organising many programmes for the past 8 years.

Training programmes were conducted at institutions all over India on Oracle, Dell EMC, VM ware, Autodesk, Amazon web services and now with the growing popularity of SAA they had decided to give training. Academic decision makers and directors from this region representing Siddhartha Academy, K L University, Sasi Engineering College, Swarnandhra College of Technology,

Usharama College of Engineering and many more colleges participated to collaborate with salesforce. Nearly 50 faculty members from 35 engineering colleges and arts colleges attended the event. Salesforce was the leader in cloud computing, offering applications for all aspects of business, including CRM, sales, ERP, customer service, marketing automation, business analytics and mobile application building.
