Thundershowers likely in coastal AP

Hyderabad: During the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Friday, the southwest monsoon was normal over coastal Andhra Pradesh and weak over Rayalaseema.

Rain occurred at a few places in the coastal districts and at isolated places in Rayalaseema. There was heavy rain at isolated places in Krishna district, the Met department bulletin said.

The forecast said light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from August 5 to 9. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
