In an interaction with officials of various departments here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said that every common man from various parts of the state like Itchapuram, Amalapuram and Anantapur had right to own and enjoy the fruits of the capital city of Amaravati.
The sacrifices made by the farmers in offering their valuable lands voluntarily in response to my appeal besides benefitting themselves economically also paved the path for setting up of prestigious educational institutions like SRM university in the initial stage itself and bestowed world class education to the deprived students of the backward districts, said the Chief Minister.
“In the recent time, it gives me the immense satisfaction and motivates myself for expediting the development of the world class capital city by attracting global investments where 13 lakhs employment opportunities will be generated to the youth in the next 20-25 years and the anticipated raise of State GDP for the next 25 years will be of 8 per cent to 9 per cent per annum.
The world-class institutions, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Amruthanandamayi are ready to start various engineering courses”. Besides, Polavaram project and biggest Solar power park in Kurnool district should be highlighted as government achievements, he suggested. The CM said the foundation stone for the Indo-UK Foundation hospital would be laid on August 16. It would be another milestone in the capital, he said.
Minister P Narayana, Amaravati Development Corporation chairperson Lakhsmi Parthasaradhi, special Chief Secretary to CM, Satish Chandra, principal secretary to CM, Sai Prasad, principal secretary, energy and CRDA Ajay Jain, commissioner CRDA, Cherukuri Sreedhar, additional commissioner, Ram Manohar, and Parakala Prabhakar, Communication Advisor have given their suggestions highlighting the achievements of the government in view of the occasion of plans of August 15.
