Tirumala: The temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD)has fully geared up to host the nine-day mega religious festival of Tirumala Srivari annual Brahmotsavams starting from Saturday.

Addressing media conference at the Annamaiah Bhavanhere on Friday, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhalsaid the TTD has made elaborate arrangement to receive the devotees from all over country for the celestial festival and provide them hassle-free and comfortable darshan and stay besides a memorable spiritual experience.
Singhal said all efforts would be made to provide Moola Virat darshan inside the temple as well as grand spectacle of Vahanaseva on the Mada streets to all devotees.
“We have put up 30 large digital screens (19 on the Mada streets and 11 outside) for the celestial event and a live HD coverage by the SVBC for benefit of all those at Mada street galleries, elsewhere in Tirumala and globally,” he added.
Nearly 7,000 parking lots have been arranged for 4-wheelervehicles in Tirumala besides 2,500 more parking lots near Alipiri as contingency. Ghat roads and the Alipiri footpath route would be open throughout the night during Brahmotsavam while the Srivarimettu footpath would be open all throughout the night only on Garuda seva day. In view of huge pilgrim influx during Peratasi Saturdays, the TTD has cancelled Divya Darshan tokens on September 23, 27 (Garuda Seva) and 30.
The TTD has also reduced the advance booking of rooms and Rs300 darshan tickets. On security front, the EO said 640 CCTV cameras, child tags, body cameras and other digital apps to make Tirumala safe and secure for devotees, have been deployed this year apart from security cover with 2,000 vigilance staff, 2,700 police, 3,000 SrivariSevakulu and 1,000 scouts and guides. “We have earmarked five entryand exit points on Madastreets for evacuation of devotees after Garuda seva,” the EO maintained.
He said the galleries of Mada streets with 1.8 lakh capacity would be fully sanitised and all devotees would be provided food, water, butter milk throughout the day at their seating places. “All junctions and locations of Tirumala are decked up with flowers and lights to invokedevotional atmosphere among devotees,” he said.
The EO said sufficient buffer stock of laddu is available to ensure that no devotees could go home unhappy without Laddu Prasadams. Anna Prasadam points have been set up all over Tirumala so that devotees who cannot go to Anna prasadams complex could have at Bus Stand, CRO, Kalyanakatta and in queue lines outside the temple and the Vaikuntam complex.
Cultural programmeswould be organised with eminent persons at Nada Neerajanam, in front of Vahanam procession, Asthana Mandapam and at Mahati in Tirupati. The EO appreciated the team efforts of all concerned departments who have been working day and night for the success of big event.
