Top cops call for people’s cooperation to prevent thefts
Kurnool Range DIG Ghattamaneni Srinivas and District Superintendent of Police (SP) Gopinath Jetty on Thursday inspected Indrakeeladri apartment complex in Vijayalakshmi Nagar where theft had taken place.

They advised residents to keep cash and jewellery up to their requirement and safely keep the rest in bank lockers. They asked the residents to be vigilant about the movements of strangers and alert the police calling 100.
They asked the residents to keep ready phone numbers of the police officers and police stations. They advocated installing CCTV cameras, appointing watchmen and maintaining the relevant registers.
They asked the apartment residents to use the LHMS mobile application and cooperate with the police in nabbing the culprits. Those who move out of the city should making good use of the LHMS application. Clues team visited the crime scene and collected finger prints.
