Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao addressed the issue of YSRCP party legislators who defected to Telugu Desam on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media, he said the issue is currently being taken up by the Supreme Court and the decision would be taken after the verdict.
The Speaker requested all the YSRCP legislators to attend the Winter session of the AP Assembly that is to begin from November 10th.

The party legislators had decided to boycott the session as a protest against the Speaker for not taking any action against the defecting MLAs.
He further urged them to attend the Assembly as it is the only opportunity for them to address public issues.

He said that the issue of party changover by YSRCP legislators, is with the Supreme Court (SC) and a decision would be taken after a verdict. He said that he has requested all YSRCP legislators to attend the Winter session of Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly that would begin from November 10th. They had decided to boycott the session, against the Speaker not taking action against defecting MLAs. The Speaker told them that Assembly is the only opportunity for them to speak on public problems.
