Subordinate Legislation panel visits Hindustan Shipyard Limited
Chairman of Committee on Subordinate Legislation T Subbarami Reddy and members visited the Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) on Tuesday. The committee held a meeting with the officials of HSL. Officials explained the yard’s activities to the Chairman and other members of the committee.

Chairman and Managing Director Rear Admiral LV Sarat Babu highlighted the remarkable turnaround of the company over the past two years by posting profits successively for two years and achieving the highest ever turnover in its 76 years of existence.
The committee toured the yard with the CMD and observed how the ‘Waste Management Rules, 2017 are being implemented. Subbarami Reddy appreciated the significant efforts put in by HSL towards the clean and green look of the yard which is one of the best maintained industries in Vishakhapatnam.
