Government Whip assures to work for MLA ticket to Mayor
Government Whip and MLC Ahmed Sharif has said that he would strive to get MLA ticket for the city Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz who has been working for the development of the city. MLC Sharif called on the Mayor at the latter’s residence here on Monday.
Nellore: Government Whip and MLC Ahmed Sharif has said that he would strive to get MLA ticket for the city Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz who has been working for the development of the city. MLC Sharif called on the Mayor at the latter’s residence here on Monday.
Speaking to the media persons, Sharif has said that State government has been allocating funds for development of the minorities. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had allocated Rs.300 crore for education needs of the minorities.
He also said, `Government has been developing 14 Gurukul schools across the State. Government had also sanctioned 25 schools for minorities and the works are under progress.’
He praised the services of the Mayor and said that Aziz has been working hard for progress of the city coordinating with all. Mayor Aziz explained about welfare activities being taken up by the government in the city.
