Srikakulam: National Mazdoor Union (NMU) leaders Ch Chandrayya, Y Srinivasa Rao and M Vijaya Prasad here on Wednesday demanded that the APSRTC should provide job security for employees.
Conducting a gate meeting at Srikakulam, they said that recently, APSRTC management had removed 570 drivers from service while driving bus after consumption of alcohol.
With the efforts of NMU, all the drivers were reinstated on humanitarian grounds, they said and demanded that the management should not remove staff from the job for first fault and minor mistakes.
