Install CCTVs in Tirumala by Feb: EO Anil Kumar Singhal

Tirupati: As a part of enhancing the security cover in Tirumala, the setting up of advanced Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in and around Tirumala temple should be completed by the end of February, said TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.

The EO participated in a review meeting held at Conference Hall in TTD Administrative Building here on Monday. Anil Kumar has directed the officials concerned to speed up the installation of CCTVs in the hill town.

Later, he instructed the officials to strengthen the FMS call centre activity by resolving the issues without delay. The EO directed the concerned to set up water taps in Alipiri footpath route to grow plants and instructed the Electrical wing officials of TTD to replace the pedestal fans in Vaikuntham Queue Complex with noiseless giant ceiling fans.

Similarly, he asked the officials to identify the congested lines and make necessary amendments for the convenience of the pilgrims. Anil Kumar directed the Revenue officials to modify and strengthen the Demand Collection Balance (DCB) system while dealing with hotels, rental shops, hawkers licences in Tirumala.

On e-Office, the EO ordered the Finance wing officials to implement the same soon in its department and instructed the EDP to install licensed software for better network. Later, Singhal directed the Engineering wing officials to complete the developmental works of Upparapalle Circle as a part of the beautification of Tirupati city.

"The office in Friday Gardens at Tiruchanur should complete by May,” he added. Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju, CE Chandrasekhar Reddy, FACAO O Balaji and other senior officials were also present.
