Special drive for voter enrolment on Feb 11

Tirupati: A special drive for voter enrolment will take place on February 11 in all 256 polling stations of Tirupati Assembly constituency. Tirupati Sub Collector C Keerthi has reviewed about the revision of voters list with representatives of various political parties here on Friday.

She said that every citizen having completed the age of 18 years has to enrol as voter. Revision of voters list was done on February 4 also in which political parties representatives have not participated. She advised all parties to see that their booth level agents participate in the programme on February 11.

There were 11,000 deletions from voters list of the constituency whereas additions were 11500. The list will be made available in all polling stations on February 11 and people can check their names in the list. Claims if any have to be submitted in Urban Tahsildar office by February 14. Urban Tahsildar Chandramohan, Election Deputy Tahsildar Tukaram and others participated.
