The excise and prohibition department introduced toll-free number to curb manufacturing and selling of illicitly distilled liquor (IDL). As part of it, the department announced a number 18004254868 to register complaints from the public on Tuesday.
Srikakulam: The excise and prohibition department introduced toll-free number to curb manufacturing and selling of illicitly distilled liquor (IDL). As part of it, the department announced a number 18004254868 to register complaints from the public on Tuesday.
According to press note released here on Tuesday from excise assistant commissioner’s office, anyone having information regarding preparation of IDL in any area can call to the toll free number and the complainant’s details will be kept confidential.
After receiving the complaint, department officers and staff will take action to prevent it and progress will be reported to the complainant. The department appealed to the public to inform about IDL for its effective prevention.
