As dry weather prevailed in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on Wednesday, the highest day temperature of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded in Tuni, Visakhapatnam Airport, Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal and Tirupati. The Met department bulletin said the day temperatures were appreciably above normal ranging from 3.1 to 5 degrees Celsius at one or two places.

Hyderabad: As dry weather prevailed in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on Wednesday, the highest day temperature of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded in Tuni, Visakhapatnam Airport, Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal and Tirupati. The Met department bulletin said the day temperatures were appreciably above normal ranging from 3.1 to 5 degrees Celsius at one or two places.

The other temperatures recorded in the State: Nandigama & Jangamaheswarapuram 37, Vijayawada 36, Arogyavaram 35, Narsapur, Nellore , Ongole & Kakinada 34 each, Kavali & Visakhapatnam 33 each, Bapatla &Machilipatnam 32 each and Kalingapatnam 31. The forecast said dry weather is very likely to prevail in Andhra Pradesh from March 8 to 11.
