Shift transformers from eco-sensitive zone: Collector
The District Collector R Mutyala Raju directed the officials to shift transformers set up in aqua farms located in eco-sensitive zone. Collector, at his chambers here on Monday, reviewed with officials about conditions in the eco-sensitive zone (ESZ). He collected the details of aquaculture in the district.

He asked the authorities on status of the applications from aquaculture units located in the eco-sensitive zone. Collector instructed the officials to prepare proposals for arranging underground stocking units at the Bharat Petroleum Unit in Tada. Divisional Forest Officer M Himasailaja, Environmental Engineer from the Pollution Control Board Pramod Kumar Reddy, Town Planning Officer Chandrasekhar and others were present.
