YSRCP MPs place their resignation letters at YSR's feet
The YSRCP MPs are all set to submit their resignations in Speaker format to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha on Friday, the last day of the budget session. They will put in their papers the moment the parliament is adjourned sine die.
New Delhi: The YSRCP MPs are all set to submit their resignations in Speaker format to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha on Friday, the last day of the budget session. They will put in their papers the moment the parliament is adjourned sine die.
The party sources say this is the final stage of their battle for special category status. As a mark of their steely resolve, they have placed their respective resignation letters at the feet of the YSR statue on Friday morning.
Soon after resigning, they would head straight to the Andhra Bhavan to launch an indefinite fast in support of their demands. Meanwhile, dharnas, rallies and deekshas are being organized across the state of Andhra Pradesh to express solidarity with the YSRCP MPs. On YS Jagan’s call, thousands of students and activists are rushing to Delhi to join the MP’s fast.
