Sex offender nabbed in Nellore

Nellore: Kovur Police nabbed most wanted psycho who had given sleepless nights to the residents of the Nellore and Chittor districts. The accused was identified as Indla Suribabu alias Suri, 42.

According to Nellore Rural DSP K.V.Raghava Reddy, Indla Suribabu alias Suri who hails from Gandhigirijana colony in Venkateswarapuram. Now he has been residing at Nagulakatta in Kovur as a habitual offender. Suri had involved in rape, chain snatching cases and also in theft cases in Nellore and in Chittoor districts. Suribabu had worked as an auto driver in 2014 and further he committed offences for easy money and also to satisfy his sexual desires and turned as habitual offender.

‘As many as 51 cases had been filed against Indla Suribabu in Nellore I, II, III, IV, V Police Stations, rural, Kovur, Buchireddypalem, Gudur and also in Naidupeta Police Stations in Nellore district.

Cases also filed in Tirupati, Srikalahasti, MR Palli, Alipiri Police Stations in Chittor district,’ said the Rural DSP. Suribabu had imprisoned upto 11 months in a case filed against him in Tirupati and he was shifted to Chittoor and to Kadapa jails, he added.

The accused normally targets women who are residing alone in the houses and rob their ornaments and rapes them, said the DSP. Majority of the victims are women and they had not come forward to lodge a complaint against the robbery and attacks of the psycho, he added. On March 1st Suribabu
