S Kota (Vizianagaram): Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan alleged that the TDG government has intentionally ignored the development of north Andhra districts. Addressing a public meeting at Srungavarapu Kota of Vizianagaram district, Pawan Kalyan alleged that the TDP government did nothing to AP people.
Stating that no jobs were created during the TDP stint, he said hundreds of acres of lands were acquired to establish Jindal aluminum in S Kota area and huge lands were taken for Patanjali's food park at Kothavalasa area but no company was established so far, but hundreds of farmers lost their livelihood and became jobless.
Sand mafia has excavating huge quantity of sand from Gosthani river but none have questioned them, he said and came down heavily on government for giving unauthorised permissions to their leaders to loot the natural resources.
The water from Tatipudi is being diverted to Vizag for drinking water and getting huge money. But here the farmers are struggling for irrigation facility to their farms and lands, Pawan said.
So far, no firm has established its unit, but the government is giving huge publicity for its works, Pawan said. “I came into politics not to make money but to fight against robbery. I am facing so many struggles and being insulted by the leaders, but I don't care those comments and allegations. I will fight for the common man,” Pawan said.
After bagging votes from these three districts, the government has totally ignored their development, he said. The TDP government is allotting valuable lands for some companies like Franklin Templeton at Vizag at lesser price to get some pecuniary benefits.
“S Kota is gate way for agency. There are no roads, schools, medical facilities in Agency area. The TDP government has totally failed to bring railway zone. Even they can't bring a railway over bridge at Kothavalasa, which is a long pending demand of public.
The MP of this area Haribabu never opened his lips on public issues in Parliament. Though the TDP has enjoyed power in the Centre with BJP but it couldn't bring any project to AP. I feel that North Andhra is my home town as the people here received me with great love and emotion. I will be with the people of this area,” he said.
