AC facility at Anna Canteens soon: Nellore Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz
City Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz informed that the civic body is planning to provide air conditioning facility to the Anna Canteens He, along with local TDP leaders, inaugurated Anna Canteens at Thadikela Bazaar Centre, Fish Market and at Old Municipal Office in the city here on Wednesday He distributed food to the poor at Anna Canteens after inaugurating them
Nellore: City Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz informed that the civic body is planning to provide air conditioning facility to the Anna Canteens. He, along with local TDP leaders, inaugurated Anna Canteens at Thadikela Bazaar Centre, Fish Market and at Old Municipal Office in the city here on Wednesday. He distributed food to the poor at Anna Canteens after inaugurating them.
Speaking to the media, Aziz said that Nellore Municipal Corporation would ensure quality of food in the canteens. The canteens are designed according to required standards for convenience of the poor, he added. State government had deployed latest technology for constructing the canteens and they had introduced CCTV cameras, electronic token system, televisions, and others where there is a scope for monitoring the situation, said Aziz.
He said that they would provide quality food to the people in all canteens. Mayor said that the state government had introduced the Anna Canteens even though it was not included in the election manifesto. Nellore Municipal Commissioner Sk Alim Basha, former legislator M Sridhara Krishna Reddy, TDP district spokesperson Dr Z Siva Prasad and others were present.
