Tirupati: A TTD security guard Bhuvaneswari stopped trust board member and MLA Gouthu Syam Sunder Sivaji when he was going to meet Joint Executive Officer K S Sreenivasa Raju, at his office in Tirumala, this evening.

The woman security guard on duty at the office refused to allow Sivaji even after he disclosed his identity, much to his embarrassment. The guard said that as per JEO’s instruction, no one will be allowed into the office after evening. The enraged Sivaji took a chair and sat on it in protest before the JEO office.

In the meantime, the senior officials in the office came rushing out of the office to the rescue of Sivaji and the woman guard also realised her failure to recognise Sivaji as trust board member.

They sought his apology for the mistake. But, Sivaji who was upset with the ill-treatment, continued his protest leaving the employees in jitters, till JEO came there. Sreenivasa Raju was not in the office at the time of the incident as he was away to attend Pallavotsam.

The JEO, after much persuasion and expressing his regret for the lapse, convinced Sivaji to end his protest bring the unsavory incident to a close.
TTD sources said, the security guard was immediately shifted from JEO office after the incident. Sivaji reached Tirumala to attend the crucial trust board meeting scheduled on Tuesday.

The meet, which will be held in Tirumala, is to discuss many important issues including the allowing of devotees for darshan into Tirumala temple during the week long Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam in August second week.

It may be recalled that the TTD trust board first decided to stop darshan for eight days during Samprokshanm but later hastily revoked it after widespread resentment on the move to stop darshan of Lord. Chief Minister also directed the trust board to reconsider its decision after sensing the popular mood against TTD decision to stop darshan during the ritual forcing TTD to revoke it.
