Tributes paid to Kalam on 3rd death anniversary by Forum for Better Bapatla
Forum for Better Bapatla secretary PC Sai Babu said that Dr Kalam was responsible for the development of Agni and Prithvi missiles and for building indigenous capability in critical technologies through networking of multiple institutions
Bapatla: Forum for Better Bapatla secretary PC Sai Babu said that Dr Kalam was responsible for the development of 'Agni’ and 'Prithvi' missiles and for building indigenous capability in critical technologies through networking of multiple institutions.
Dr Kalam was popularly known as Missile Man of India. He said the latter immensely became popular during his tenure as President of India and was known as 'People's President'.
He received several honours including 'Bharat Ratna'. He led simple life and was inspirational to the many people of this country. He was most respected in the country after Gandhiji.
Kalam's third death anniversary was celebrated on Friday under the aegis of Forum For Better Bapatla.
His statue near mandal office was garlanded and rich tributes were paid to the great leader.
Forum Secretary P C Sai Babu, Bar Association President Avinash, advocates Jamrud Basha, Korneal, Nicholos and others participated.
