Gangavaram port contributes 3.76-L to ZP High School
As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Gangavaram port contributed Rs 376 lakhs to the Zilla Parishad High School at Gangavaram village
Visakhapatnam: As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Gangavaram port contributed Rs 3.76 lakhs to the Zilla Parishad High School at Gangavaram village.
The funds will be used for carrying out repairs to the buildings, providing ceiling fans and chairs to the students.
These facilities were provided with an objective to promote education in the neighbouring villages and create a healthy environment for the students.
According to Gangavaram Port Management, “It’s our endeavour to strengthen the education infrastructure in Vizag by providing basic facilities to schools.
We are committed to the development of our neighbourhood and will continue to support similar initiatives for creating a stronger society.”
B Balakrishna, Vice-President, Vigilance (R&R and Security), LPS Ramu Naidu (Liaison and Security), M Joseph, head master (In-charge) and staff of the school were present.
