Kakinada: The CPM Kakinada Rural unit has taken up collection of donations for Kerala flood victims.
The party cadre in the last two days visited Indrapalem and Cheediga villages in the manual.
On Sunday, the party cadre organised procession in the main streets of Indrapalem from Braga Singh statue centre to Indrapalem Bridge despite heavy rain. Later they went round in some areas in Kakinada city.
According to former Indrapalem Sarpanch P Veerababu, the response from residents and traders was good.
Patty activists V Ravi, K Satish and large number of women activists participated in the donation campaign and collection.
