Guntur: Guntur MP Galla Jayadev said that he will fight to protect the interests of the state. He interacted with the students of Chalapati Engineering College in Tadikonda on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he flayed that the BJP government cheated the people of the state and rejected the Special Category Status.
He reminded that his mother Galla Aruna Kumari worked as a minister in the government and added that when the Congress party did not render justice to the state, they shifted their loyalty to TDP. He reminded that BJP also cheated the people of the state.
He further stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu could able to develop the state though the BJP ignored the election promises. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu mounted pressure on the Centre to fulfil the election promises.
He said that the Chief Minister was fulfilling the poll promises. He sought cooperation of the students to fight against the Centre to fulfil the assurances mentioned in the State Bifurcation Act. Chalapati Educational Institutions Chairman Yalamanchili Sujeet, principal N Rama Rao were present.
