Tirupati: An 18-member delegation from the Andhra Chamber of Commerce (ACC) headed by its Executive Committee member VV Sampath Kumar visited Sri City on Friday. Senior Vice President (Marketing) Shiva Sankar received the ACC members and extended a warm welcome.

He briefed them about the infrastructure and unique features of mega industrial park and highlighted the advantages of doing business in Sri City. Commenting on the visit, Sri City founder and MD Ravindra Sannareddy said that the visit of the ACC team was very important to the Sri City as they lead business across diversified fields.

“As this body speaks for the business community as a whole, and acts as a bridge between the industry, business class and the governments, their views and suggestions will be useful for making Sri City as a mega industrial hub even for small and medium enterprises,” he added.

Thanking the Sri City management for arranging the visit, Sampat Kumar said that the entire delegation was totally enthralled with the world-class infrastructure and business friendly atmosphere at Sri City.

“It will be our pleasure to introduce and recommend Sri City to more and more prospective investors,” he stated. The intent of their visit was to witness and gain first-hand knowledge about Sri City, assess its business potential and explore the possibility of investing.

The delegation consists of members from prominent business houses and management consultants, actively interacted with Sri City officials and cleared their doubts on various aspects. Later, they went round the campus and visited the production unit of Vermeiren.

The 99-year-old ACC, which has its main office in Chennai has over 17,500 members and around 55 affiliated chambers of commerce and industry and trade associations. It has business relations with the US, UK, Japan, Sri Lanka, China, etc. and has contributed for the expansion of business across the globe.
