Devotees throng Anjaneya temple
A large number of devotees thronged Sri Maddi Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Guravayigudem village on Tuesday, an auspicious day for the devotees
Jangareddigudem: A large number of devotees thronged Sri Maddi Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Guravayigudem village on Tuesday, an auspicious day for the devotees.
The devotees started rushing to the temple since early hours and had darshan of the Lord. They made ‘pradakshina’ of the temple for 108 times and fulfilled their Mokkubadi. They presented Nagavalli Dalams to the lord.
Later, they performed rituals like puja for Annaprasana and vehicles.
More than 900 devotees had their lunch on the temple premises. The temple hundi collections from devotees accounted for Rs 1.15 lakh.
Temple EO P Viswanadha Raju monitored the arrangements made for the convenience of the devotees.
Meanwhile, owners of Om Durga Sweets at Relangi village of Iragavaram mandal presented 533 grams of silver to the Lord on the occasion.
