Murder Attack on YS Jagan at Vizag airport

A person claiming to be a fan of YS Jagan attacked the YSRCP chief with a knife while he was waiting in a lounge at Vishakapatnam airport.
It is reported that the accused Srinivas, a native of Amalapuram in the pretext of taking selfie approached YS Jagan and attacked him with a knife used for cockfight. Jagan who suffered an injury on his left shoulder has been shifted to a hospital after first aid being done in the airport.
According to sources, Srinivas who is working as a waiter at the airport met Jagan to offer tea in the lounge. After taking a selfie with the Jagan, Srinivas asked him if the party wins 160 seats in the next elections. In the meantime, he attacked Jagan who escaped with an injury.
The CISF police arrested the accused and sent for questioning.
Jagan was waiting in the VIP lounge to head towards Hyderabad for a court hearing on Thursday after completing his 294th day of Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Saluru constituency of Vizianagaram district today.
