Kakinada: The contract employees of urban health centers (UHCs- popularly known as Mukhya Mantri Health Centers) staged protest demonstration at East Godavari DM and HO office on Friday on the second day demanding solution to their pending problems.
The demands include revision of salaries on equal pay for equal work mode and implementation of GO Nos 27 and 151. Revision of casual leaves from the present 12 to 35 and implementation of working hours strictly from 9 am to 4 pm. The contract employees also demanded release of pending salaries.
President of the UHC contract employees U Gang Rittman led the protest demonstration.
