Tirumala: To reach global devotees of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, TTD made online sales of TTD calendars and diaries for 2019 more user friendly. The devotees of Sri Venkateswara Swamy spread across the globe feel that the best gift to present to their friends and relatives for new year is to present TTD calendars and diaries which have huge demand among people.
For a wider reach, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal instructed the officials to make the online booking much easier so that the pilgrims can book any number of diaries and calendars. The pilgrims have to click on "publications" in ttd.sevaonline.com website of TTD and order for diaries and calendars with debit or credit cards. The order number may be unlimited with additional postal charges for every copy. So far, 8,000 calendars and diaries have been delivered by postal department. The online sales of diaries and calendars are picking up on a fast pace. While delivering the order, the devotees will get an SMS about the delivery.
It may be noted here that TTD released the new year (2019) calendars and diaries well in advance on September 13. This includes 16 lakhs copies of 12-sheet calendars priced at Rs.100 each, eight lakhs big diaries at Rs.130 per piece, two lakhs small diaries with Rs.100 per diary, four lakhs Srivari calendars at Rs.15 per copy, 10,000 of Sri Padmavathi calendar price at Rs.15 per copy, six lakh copies of Srivari Padmavathi calendars at Rs.10 per piece, 2.5lakhs copies of Panchangam calendars costing Rs.20 per piece.Besides, 50,000 copies of table top calendars priced at Rs 60 that were published by TTD for the first time, according to TTD Publications Officer T Ravi.
