Vijayawada: The RERA Act would help builders and construction companies, said Real Estate Regulation Authority (RERA) assistant director Sunitha.
She was the chief guest at awareness programme organised by NAREDCO on RERA Act here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that land above 500 square yards would come under RERA Act and purchase and sale of apartments should be done only through registered agents, she stressed.
Complete details of the construction company and builder name and other details should be registered under RERA which would be easy for sale and purchase transactions, she said and added people across the world can view the details of the construction company.
She was honoured by RERA Vijayawada chapter president Vemuri Subba Rao, general secretary B Amanath, treasurer Ch Venkateswarulu, Durgaprasad and others.
