Rajamahendravaram: Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has kicked off his 9- day Praja Porata Yatra (PPY) from Tuni in East Godavari district. Earlier, a month ago, he conducted Jana Sena Kawat on Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage at Dowleswaram.

Participating in his maiden public meeting as part of PPY here on Friday evening, he questioned the youth whether they want a temporary monthly remuneration of Rs 2,000 or a 25 years bright future? He asked them to vote for JSP in the ensuing Assembly elections if they want good future for which the party was committed.

He advised them to take Rs 2,000 and asked them to vote for JSP. JSP came into existence to bring a total change in the existing rotten political system. “I differed with my brother and came out and my mother now asked me to enter into politics, who earlier opposed it. Youth are waiting for a change. I can become Chief Minister if the people shower their blessings,’’ he commented.

TDP is aspiring to capture power again, where as JSP is trying to bring a total change in politics. Moreover, corruption was rampant in the state and law and order problem was in danger, he alleged.

“In 2014 elections JSP supported Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with the hope that he can do good to the people because of his experience and he shattered the dreams of the people. Now, he is trying to retain his position again and trying for it seriously,’’ Pawan said.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu bowed before Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his own ends, the JSP chief says. Minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu has 40 years political experience and his knowledge used to get contracts to his relatives but not to get jobs, he said. JSP is the saviour of the state and it never allows to mortgage the interests of the state to any one, he added.
