Srikakulam: Prepare Titli cyclone victims’ list accurately, urged former Central minister and senior Congress leader Dr K Krupa Rani. She released an open letter to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Tuesday. In her letter, she lauded CM’s efforts in taking up restoration works in Titli affected areas on quick pace.
She also supported Chandrababu Naidu’s fight against BJP government at the Centre seeking adequate compensation for Titli victims and special category status to AP etc. She said that even after AICC president Rahul Gandhi demand on providing aid to Titli victims, BJP government is yet to respond.
Krupa Rani urged the Chief Minister to direct officials for preparation of accurate lists of cyclone victims which will build up confidence among people on government mechanism. She lamented that under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule, agencies like CBI, ED, RBI and financial institutions were collapsed.
