2-day Indian Medical Association State annual meet from tomorrow
The 3rd annual conference of Indian Medical Association IMA, Andhra Pradesh state will be held here for two days on November 10 and 11 The IMA Tirupati Branch President Dr IV Ramachandra Rao and secretary Dr AR Reddy speaking to media here on Thursday said that it was the first state conference of IMA after the state bifurcation to be held in the pilgrim city
Tirupati: The 3rd annual conference of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Andhra Pradesh state will be held here for two days on November 10 and 11. The IMA Tirupati Branch President Dr IV Ramachandra Rao and secretary Dr AR Reddy speaking to media here on Thursday said that it was the first state conference of IMA after the state bifurcation to be held in the pilgrim city.
The local branch hosting the doctors meet made elaborate arrangements to conduct the conference on a grand scale. They said scientific programmes, panel discussions on latest developments and facilities in the medical and health field, case presentations, student’s posters and a trade exhibition useful for technological needs will find a place in the two-day meet.
State President elect Dr Daggumati Sreehari Rao, who will take charge as IMA state president on the first day of the conference on November 10, said that IMA national president Ravi Vankhedkar will participate in the meet.
Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy, Chittoor MP Dr N Sivaprasad and local MLA N Suguna will attend the inaugural of the conference, Rao said adding that various committees were set up for the successfulconduct of the of IMA state conference.
