Rajamahendravaram: Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna has said that it is the duty of revenue officials to protect government lands and take over encroached lands.
Addressing the officials of revenue department of Rajamahendravaram revenue division at Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on Friday, he said that the officials should also work up to the satisfaction of the people by delivering goods in right time.
He also directed them to collect taxes as per schedule and also address the problems raised in Mee Kosam programme.
He assured to sort out the problems of revenue staff in the district.
Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma, Tahsildars and others were present.
