Srikakulam: Both the BJP and TDP Governments at the Centre and State are harassing common man, workers and employees with their anti-people policies, charged CITU State president, Ch Narasinga Rao.

Participating in a preparatory meeting for success of proposed Bharath Bandh called on January on 8 and 9 against the anti-people policies of both governments, Narasinga Rao said that the governments are diluting labour laws and acting in favour of corporates and industrialists.

Quoting the Aurobindo Pharmaceutical management’s negligent attitude towards workers’ demands, he said with the support of State government, the company management has not been solving workers issues for the last one-year.

Demonetisation and GST both are ruining the systems and pushed common man into trouble, he explained.

CITU State vice-president Duppala Govinda Rao demanded to fix minimum wage as Rs 18,000 and cancellation of contributory pension scheme (CPS).

He demanded the State government to act against Aurobindo management for violation of labour laws and ignoring corporate social responsibility.
