Tirumala: Once again fake Arjitha Seva tickets issue came to light at the entry point of Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala in the early hours on Friday. TTD vigilance sleuths have identified four Abhishekam tickets as fake which were carried by Chennai-based devotee Chandra Shekar and family.

Chandra Shekar family came to Tirumala for Abhishekam darsan in the wee hours on Friday and they showed four tickets at the entry point of Vaikuntam-1 Complex. The TTD vigilance officer PSC Ramakishore checked their Abhishekam tickets and found them as fake.

As part of enquiry, Vigilance Officer interrogated the devotee Chandrashekar. According to information, the devotee Chandra Shekar informed to the vigilance officials that he had purchased four Abhishekam tickets from Ramana Prasad who is working as 108 ambulance supporting staff at Tirumala.

For this they have paid Rs 4000 to R Prasad. By using of old Abhishekam ticket details by scanning, the accused Ramana Prasad had created four fake Abhishekam tickets and sold them to the Chennai based Chandrashekar.

The TTD vigilance officials have filed a cheating complaint against Ramana Prasad at Tirumala One police station. On the basis of the complaint, investigation was started by the One town CI P Rama Krishan.
