Nation will never forget martyrs’ sacrifices: Collector

Kakinada: Collector Karthikeya Misra has said that the country will never forget the services of army personnel who sacrificed their lives for the country and every citizen should support them. They are glaring example for selfless service, he added.

Paying floral tributes to the martyrs in connection with army Flag Day celebrations held here on Friday, he said the people were living peacefully in the country because the army is protecting the country boarders round-the-clock facing many problems. They are working for our country leaving their families here and there, he said.

“It is the duty of every citizen to extend at least moral support and necessary assistance to their families. Everyone should get inspiration from them and work
to strengthen our country,” the Collector averred.

NCC group commander NCS Naidu underlined the need to inculcate the habit of loving the country from childhood, he said.

Army men, ex-servicemen and family members of martyrs participated in the programme.
