Anantapur: Agri-Gold Agents Welfare Association honorary president M Nageshwara Rao and State president Viswanath Reddy called upon the victims of Agri-Gold scam to gear themselves up for a fight to the finish in the next two months as the period is crucial before the end of the term of present government.

Participating in the district general body meeting of the association here on Sunday, Nageshwara Rao said that the movement against the Agri -Gold management has reached a crucial stage and unless pressure is applied on the government, the issue will not be settled.

State president Viswanath Reddy said that the family members of the agitators including their relatives and sympathisers should come to the streets, participate in relay fasts and in State-wide dharna at Vijayawada from December 23-27.

Throughout the country, 32 lakh victims covering 8 states have become victims of the mega scam of Agri Gold. A Rally was taken out on the main roads of the city on the occasion. Local CPI leaders Jaffer, Jagadesh and others participated.
