Tirupati: The State government on Friday issued orders approving the payment of Brahmotsava Bahumanam to TTD employees, brining cheers to about 22,000 employees including regular and contract basis in TTD.
In the GO RT No 90 dated January 18, the government approved the TTD Trust Board resolution to make payment of “Brahmotsava Bahumanam (2018) for an amount of Rs 13,500 to the regular employees including the staff working on deputation and on foreign service terms and conditions and an amount of Rs 6,000 to other categories of employees in TTD.
There are 8,000 regular employees and about 14,000 contract and other categories of employees in TTD, who will be benefitted with the cash incentive (Bahumanam) being paid by the TTD as token of their service for the smooth and successful completion of Brahmotsavam in Tirumala.
Sources said that the Bahumanam to the regular employees is slightly more than last year while it was the same for other categories employees paid in 2017-18.
Meanwhile, employees’ leaders including TTD Staff and Workers Front leaders G Venkatesam, M Nagarjuna and others thanked the TTD officials including EO Anil Kumar Singhal for the payment of cash incentive.
