Eluru: 2K Run, an voter awareness run, was organised in the city on the occasion of National Voters Day on Friday. Joint Collector Venugopal Reddy flagged off the run.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that the run was organised to sensitise people on right to vote. Everyone who completed 18 years of age should register as voter, he said.
The run began at Collectorate and passed through Zilla Parishad office, fire station before concluding at KPTD High School.
MLC Ramu Surya Rao, DRO N Satyanarayana, ZP CEO Nagarjunasagar, RDO Chakradhara Rao and students participated in the run.
