70 students donate blood in camp

Srikakulam: One person can save three lives of people by donating their blood during emergency situations, said joint collector KVN Chakradhara Babu. The joint collector also donated blood during a blood donation camp conducted at a private degree college here on Thursday under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society.
Speaking on the occasion, he explained the importance of blood donation in emergency situations like road accidents. In total 70 students donated blood and JC presented participation and appreciation certificates to the donors. IRCS chairman P Jaganmohan Rao, college directors and students attended the programme.
